Shropshire Day

PCSO Scott was honoured to be invited to support the community in Much Wenlock today at Holy Trinity Church as residents celebrated Shropshire Day and the Feast of St Milburga.  The event brought together local people along with a number of distinguished guests, including the High Sheriff of Shropshire, the Mayors of Much Wenlock, Bridgnorth, Broseley, Ludlow, members of the Town Councils, and the Bishop of Hereford not forgetting Reverend Prebendary Matthew Stafford.
Our attendance reflects our commitment to high‑visibility neighbourhood policing, supporting parish priorities and the West Mercia Police Community Charter during key community events.

How we want the public to feel:
We hope the community feels reassured, included and supported, knowing their Safer Neighbourhood Team is visible, approachable and engaged in local traditions. Events like this strengthen our connection with residents and help us stay in touch with the issues that matter most.
